CLICK HERE for a FREE WORKOUT!!
http://www.turbulencetraining.com
This is the Turbulence Training intermediate workout program warm-up. This includes 3 bodyweight exercises done in circuit fashion, rest 30 seconds, and then repeat the circuit one more time.
Starting with prisoner squats, place your hands behind your head as though you were being arrested, with your elbows back at all times and your shoulder blades together. Next, have your feet slightly wider than shoulder width apart and then squat to parallel and come back up. So, keep your head and chest up and go nice and slow on the way down, and then squeeze your butt and drive up. Perform 12 repetitions.
Now you’ll immediately move on to pushups or kneeling pushups for 8 repetitions. With your body in a straight line and abs braced, bring your chest to the floor, using a strong push on the way up.
The final exercise in the Intermediate warm-up is the stability ball leg curl for 12 repetitions. With your heels on the ball, hips bridged up, curl in with your hamstrings and then back out. Be sure to keep your body in a straight line during this movement.
After you’ve finished all the repetitions for the stability ball leg curl, rest 30 seconds, and then repeat the circuit one more time.

Ive heard that the body does not burn as much fat/calories doing the same exercise repeatedly. I have been doing jogging everyday and have lost weight but now I am not losing and have actually started gaining even though I have not changed diet or routine. Can anyone suggest any good cardio I can do at home or at the park without equipment?? thanks everyone!
If a person sticks to same exercise routine and same healthy diet for a long time, he/she stops losing weight, but doesn’t gain weight. So, you should consult a doctor if you keep gaining weight because that could be due to some hormonal imbalance.
About cardio exercise without gym equipment: The best and most effective one is rope jumping. If you don’t have a jumping rope, you can pretend like holding one and jump moving your hands. Don’t stick to jumping at a place. Combine the following: jump side by side, jump forward & backward, jumping jacks, etc.

I’m a heavy (350-to-375-ish) person looking to get a recumbent stationary bike for exercise, and I’m finding that pretty much all of the reasonably-priced models seem to list "weight capacities" of between 250 and 300 lbs, if they list one at all.
So I’m wondering if anyone out there can give me some idea of how realistic these weight limits actually are. Are they basically just there to protect the manufacturer from possible lawsuits or claims of "poor workmanship"? (If it’s actually a serious issue, why are there some models that don’t bother to specify a limit?)
When someone who is over the limit uses the equipment.. are we talking "It could fall to pieces without warning and leave you lying on the floor with a broken leg"? Or more like "It will wear out faster with regular use and might need to be replaced in 5 years instead of 10"?
I mean, I never ask what the weight limit of, say, an office chair is before I sit down in it, and I don’t exactly go around breaking office chairs by sitting in them…
I know that consumer goods are produced with a certain "factor of safety" on them to ensure a long life. This factor of safety means that the goods are designed to have significant one-time loads associated with them without breaking. For example, the aircraft industry uses a FS of about 1.5 – 3 for most parts. Civil engineers use a FS of 10 for bridges and other roadworks.
I would say that the weight limit on that machine is conservative, and exonerates the manufacturer if it were to break under usage. My recommendation is to use the exercise machine, just be careful and perform regular inspections.
