Home Fitness 101

One of the perks of a Black card membership at Planet Fitness is that you can bring a guest for free. Do they allow you to bring a guest to a different Planet Fitness location other than your home gym?

I don’t see it being a problem unless they do not have you on their database.

This vid is showing the home setup and weights I have, Im very passionate about weight training and this gym has seen a lot of use in the 18months I have had it. The gym is a Marcy MWB-4300 and cost about £1200.

I was looking for weight training equipment and I can’t decide on wether to get a set of dumbbells or a small inexpensive home gym. I just need to stay in shape and help gain muscle. Thanks.

Go for a home gym. Working out more of the body as a whole will provide a larger benefit both to looks/appearance and health.

Perhaps later you can afford some dumb bells to compliment your home gym.

You can make a pull up bar for free — (you just need something you can pull yourself up on..) — That will work the entire back, biceps, forearms and so on.. I highly recommend you incorporate that movement in your plan.

Me and my brother want to get a home gym to save having to go to the public gym twice a week But how much would it cost to get a few machines to work our arms, abs, chest and back?

Machines are garbage. All you need is a bench, a squat rack, a barbell and some dumbbells.
