Celebrity Delta Goodrem has been spotted in Sydney on the Shadowboxer program. She’s been having personal training sessions with Shadowboxer Guru Paul Todd.

Family Heritage, A Coaches Vision…

As its names implies the development of SHADOWBOXER originates from the world of boxing, a sport renowned across the globe for its commitment to personal fitness and athletic well being.

Dating back to 1918 the Todd Family have been known for their expertise in boxing and fitness innovation. One of Australia’s legendary boxing figures in Billy Todd who was the Australian National Welter Weight Champion for three years (1958-1960). Billy went on to become a top rugby league conditioner for three leading NRL teams, another sport renowned for its high level of stamina and conditioning.

Following in his fathers sporting footsteps, his son, Paul, has over the last two decades become one of Australia’s most popular and respected personal trainers and coaches. Paul Todd’s role and scope extends beyond the world of boxing to include training classes, gym ownerships, strength and conditioning development.

Insights from personal training led Paul to the realisation that many people were looking for a product which would improve strength, tone and condition but without incurring the type of impact which often leads to physical injury or strain.

Building from this appreciation Paul began development of the first SHADOWBOXER prototype which quickly became popular with the fitness community in Sydney and beyond.

This core idea or vision has evolved over a five year development period. During this time it has experienced continual assessment, testing, improvement and certification to create an effective and viable commercial proposition.

As a consequence Shadow Boxer ‘the company’ was established in 2005 to commercialise the product in the Australian and international arena.

Also taking up the SB challenge has been local Sydney celebrity, presenter and model Annalise Braakensiek. She’s also been putting the Shadowboxer to the test at some of Paul’s sweat sessions around town.

Fitness for Building Muscle: Comparison of Free Weights from Exercise Machines

Strength training is excellent for developing different muscle groups, and there are plenty of machines that will aid you in your fitness regimen. You need to make comparisons between using exercise machines and free weights on muscle fitness exercise.

Free weights are beneficial for strengthening the entire body. Exercises on free weights are done easily. You properly hold the free weights while standing. Your entire body is supporting the weight that is why the muscles actively move during the exercise.

As you lift the free weights, weight stabilization also takes place keeping your body in a steady manner. This promotes additional muscle strength.

The major advantage of exercise machines over free weights is safety and easy usage. These machines are equipped with control and guides to direct the resistance paths. The spotters assistance is not anymore needed when exercising.

The free weights major disadvantage is safety. Total control is needed when lifting to prevent joints and muscle injuries. Usage and technique must be properly applied when utilizing free weights.

To summarize, free weights can be better for achieving full stabilization of the muscles and freedom of motions, while machines provides safety and easy usage.

Fat Man, Never Think That Weight Has Something to Do With Fitness

The only thing that will affect your fitness is related on how you do your exercises. You can start to improve your body and stay in shape if you exercise. In return, you can slim down your body.

If your goal is losing weight and maintain it, then you should be thinking about working on your entire physical fitness than simply reducing some portion of your normal diet. This is the wrong way of losing weight. Your fitness plan must start with doing your exercises.

Never think of your weight, just do your exercises.
