When starting a major fitness plan or just aiming to maintain your current health, it is always beneficial to have as many exercises as possible available to you. This will not only give plenty of choice in your routines to accommodate for exercises that may not be accessible to you due to mobility or practicality but will also offer alternatives in working a body part when results from a specific exercise plateaus.
The E-8660 offers two stations and two weight stacks with dark gray weight shrouds which allows two users to workout at the same time on the E-8660. The left station is a fully adjustable chest press station. The back pad and seat angle, ankle pad hold down, frame distance from the unit and press arm are all adjustable. The segmented and angled back features multiple positions adjusted along a ladder back.
The rolled seat pad offers adjustment teeth for proper correlation with the back or for multiple leg lengths in ab training. Both pads measure 4.33″ and are wrapped in thick vinyl for maximum comfort and stability. The roll pads also adjust for ab training. The entire bench moves closer or farther from the unit with the angled front handle to allow for the most beneficial chest presses available. The press arm itself also adjusts in multiple positions to create an appropriate starting site for chest or military presses.

If you are looking for one of the most comprehensive pieces of fitness equipment, the E-7617 is for you.
This machine allows for push-ups, multiple grip pull-ups / chin-ups, dips and vertical knee raises to be performed in one compact and sturdy machine.
The reverse pitch combined with the rear counter weight design and carefully chosen location of each station creates a very solid machine with the elimination of tipping and swaying that can occur in some lighter or less well designed power towers.
Each piece of the frame is made of heavy square tubing and thick steel bolts. The end caps and grips are textured rubber and the padding itself is crease free, sweat resistant vinyl over thick high quality foam padding. This all ensures that your workouts on the E-7617 are safe, comfortable and useful.
While the makeup and quality of the components are very important in a power tower, the amount of exercises and the many variations are essential to most users. The E-7617 offers a high and wide push-up station that allows users to vary the depth of their motion, which will target the various heads of the pectoral muscle. The dip station includes thickly textured rubber grips that allow users to perform dips while their body is clear of the VKR or pull-up / chin-up station. The vertical knee raise (VKR) station includes an angled ergonomic back pad for comfort on the shoulder blades and lower back along with contoured arm pads, which extend from elbow to wrist for comfort and security. In addition, the grip posts are placed at an ideal space from the arm pads and are tall enough for multiple hand sizes.
The pull-up station on the E-7617 is one of the most versatile portions of the machine. It features split hand grips to allow a complete clearance of the user’s head in addition to fully angled grips. The initial portion of the grip is a straight section, which is often not found in power towers. This allows for parallel (neutral) grip chin-ups, which places the least stress on the shoulders, elbows and wrists. The remaining curve of the bars allows for forward and reverse grip pull-ups and chin-ups with wide, normal, narrow and mixed grips. This all combines to create a specific station and an overall machine that will allow infinite growth in your fitness routine.

My “Home Gym”…This is my personal Home Gym. I use it for my own workout as well as sharing with my friends. A bit over-glorified, I know…but hey, you only live once right? Some men spend their money on Sports Car, some on Rolex watches…I spend my money on this…There is an original Sandow Statuette made in 1895 and a hand signed letter by Sandow himself dated 1903 in there somewhere…Other goodies – Ironmind Buffalo bar and Apollon axles, Al Gerard’s original Trap Bar, PDA’s log bars & shrug bar “Stunner Down Under” (featured in their website), Nautilus Nitro Full Range, ER Racks, Eleiko PL and WL compeition bars, Captain of Crush 1-3…Right outside this gym there is also a little “Gym Garden” with free weights – completely outdoor. Interested? In the Northcote, Victoria-Australia Area? Come in for a workout with me!

This is a video of some exercises I use at home. They mainly consist of body-weight exercises, with no equipment, or with equipment you might find around the house. People who don’t feel like joining a gym could find them helpful. You might decide to use them or you might not. Either way, I hope you enjoy it.
